Dividing head

Dividing head is one of the important accessory of the milling machine, commonly used to install workpieces milling ramp, indexing and processing spiral groove.

Divider:

(1) using various indexing methods (simple indexing, duplex, differential) index.

(2) mount the workpiece into the angle you want, and for machining (milling beveled, etc).

(3) when milling helical grooves, for head wheel and milling machines vertical bench screw “change gears” after you join, when bench moved, dividing heads on can obtain spiral movement of the workpiece.
